FAQ
Q. CAN I USE DOG POOP FOR FERTALIZER?
A. Short answer is no! Unless you have your friend on a 100% plant based diet it is not possible. In raw form, waste can be toxic to your soil. It would have to be composted safely in an enclosed system before it could be considered beneficial to the environment.
Q. DO YOU CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU COME TO OUR PROPERTY?
A. Yes! Not only do we sanitize our equipment after every job, we also sanitize our shoes as well. We understand not wanting to bring something from a foreign yard. And so no scent lingers for your pet, we also deodorize our equipment and shoes as well after every job.
Q. CAN I JUST MOW OVER THE WASTE?
A. You can but The Dung Doctor would not recommend that. Mowing the waste will simply chop it up in smaller pieces which will spread it through your yard. Children, pets and you yourself have more opportunity to trample it causing more chances to carry the waste into your home.
Q. CAN'T WE JUST LET IT DECAY SINCE ITS ONLY IN ONE SPOT?
A. Waste can take a year or longer to decay fully. Even when it has physically disappeared from site it still can contain parasite eggs which can linger for several years leaving your pets, children or you yourself a possibility to a serious infection.
Q. CAN YOU REMOVE OTHER ANIMAL WASTE PRODUCT?
A. Not at this current time.
